Primary Psychopath with Prosocial Predilections
Mid-30s psychopathic woman here. I experience roughly 5% of typical human emotion, and I have zero affective/emotional empathy. However I am not a serial killer or a villainous CEO. I went most of my life not knowing that other people actually deeply and lastingly feel the things they talk about, and weren’t just being dramatic.
I’m writing because there is very little written about psychopathy by someone who has it, let alone anything by a prosocial psychopath. The clinical literature talks about us. True crime obsesses over us. Pop psychology demonizes us. Nobody asks us what it’s actually like to live with different wiring, so I’m telling you.
This publication is Primary Psychopathy from the inside, backed by neuroscience and research psychology, written without the Hollywood theatrics. I write about what love looks like without emotional attachment, how ethics work without a conscience, and what it means to build a moral framework out of logic instead of feeling.
If you’re a neurotypical person who has ever wondered what’s actually going on inside someone like me: this is for you.
If you’re someone who has always felt like you’re the only person you know who isn’t overdramatic, and you’ve never known why: this might be for you too.
New articles drop regularly. High quality, no fluff, no manipulation. Well, no unintentional manipulation.
